Yet, now, there’s a pile of technology sitting in the corner of our dwellings, its cumulative value never questioned. Affordability never came into play. Increasing levels of technology seemed must haves. We raced toward each one: the tower, the PowerBook, the MacBook Pro, the RAID drive, an iPod, the iPhone, the iPad…and so on.
